ANSWER :
The structure of the starbucks company differs greatly from the corporate structure of other coffee shops. It's organizational structure is unique just like it's coffee. The analysis i have done so far lead me to expect that starbuck company operate with a particular type or kind of structure and that is MATRIX structure.
Matrix structure seems to fit with the characteristics of the
organization's technology, a great extent by maintaining effective
communication, great product development and efficient
production
The starbucks company's structure is MECHANISTIC not organic because it employs a matrix configuration structure through integrating divisional and functional structures. It maintain a high degree of specialization and formalization.
