There are various types of incompetence but unconscious incompetence is very dangerous for entrepreneurial activity and ventures survival and performances. It focuses on maintaining nthe status quo and not attentive towards changing business conditions.
Anyone seeking to take a business to the next level simply cannot risk being blindsided. It focuses on you don't know what you don't know. Thus it impede the entrepreneurial activity and put a question mark on the survival of business or venture when there is no activity taking place. Entrepreneurial activity always try to improve the performances by adopting different unique ideas and strategies .
But unconscious incompetence impede such activity thus the danger of survival emerges. We can not move further due lack of upskilling. It does not allow to change according to dynamic nature of businesses environment.
If there is a pandemic and business should change its modal accordingly but due to unconscious incompetence we remain unaware. Being unconscious of what we don’t know will make us indifferent about changes. It will make us rely on the wrong type of intuition that may get our business in trouble . There andis need to identify lacking areas and then work on upskilling. It is like when we doing something wrong but we don't know that it is wrong. As the firm has no idea about what is going wrong they can't resort for help.
