Army Mission Command - Discuss how the commander’s visualization is a continuous process.
Visualization is the art and science of developing understanding about the situation taking into account the contextual intelligence, determining what is desired process and outcome. and discussing the process of moving from current state to the desired state. Visualization always remains critical to battle command. Specifically talking about Commander's visualization it always remains the continuous process and is not one short activity. Visualization in Combat operations starts with planning and is continuously updated and kept under check until the desired mission is achieved. Visualization is the process wherein the commander uses the resources, knowledge and expertise to assess and adjust battle operations. Commander's visualization is a continuous activity because he is involved is consciously confirming or adapting their vision. It is the commander who takes shots about what needs to be done and how it needs to be done by continuously engaging in the visualization process. Military literature defines Visualization as an activity owing to its dynamism principle is continuously adjusted by Commander keeping in view the friendly actions, unpredictable civilian considerations, and uncertain or unforeseen enemies. It is an art of determining what needs to be achieved and how to achieve that so in a way it is more process-oriented than results-driven.
