a) Yes, upto some extent it will help in controlling software piracy. Though several websites are there on the web which provide not only pirated softwares but pirated android apps as well App store of Apple is concerned they are doing exceptionally well then google play store but the market share is very less as compared to android mobile market. If we manage to create a system for PC softwares like marketplace I'm sure it will help in reducing the piracy.

b) Yes, as far as preventing piracy in concerned that will help a lot but several issues are there like

1. What in case of hard drive crashes of a PC

2. How will you make software distributed through Market Place Affordable for everone.

3. Internet conncetivity issues is also a big concern specially in developing countries like India/Nepal
