The advantages and disadvantages of innovation or an entrepreneur in the nation of Oman are been discussed based on each element with its pros and cons.

Individualism-Collectivism: Oman is a growing economy that has achieved a great deal of collectivism in its ways of work but individualism also is present in some cases where the word of the entrepreneur is the last and final it may be a disadvantage. Nevertheless, the advantage of the collectivism allows the innovator to get ideas from the people around them while the disadvantage is of losing the intellectual property of all aspects are disclosed at once.

Uncertainty avoidance: The advantage of Oman is that the investors may have good support to the innovator which gives them to develop the idea. So uncertainties in such cases are not of a big deal. However, the disadvantage is that the failure in a project by one may make the investors for new business loose trust in the long run.

Power distance: The power distance of Oman society is mixed within the males while in the females the power distance is supposed to be big if the boss is a male. This makes the advantage of making the workers follow the entrepreneur’s guidelines while the disadvantage is that the idea flows may feel a gap or barrier.

Masculinity and Femininity: The Task orientation vs the person orientation. In innovation and entrepreneurship business the use of both can be done as it’s for a nation like Oman. The task orientation is the advantage of the business for innovators while the disadvantages are if the ideas don’t flow in or are restricted to one.
