3. What is Women’s Suffrage? Discuss Theodore Roosevelt, the
creation of the Pure Food & Drug Act, and the Conservation
Movement.
Women's suffrage, also called women's suffrage, is women's right to vote in national or local elections by law. The women's suffrage movement actually began in 1848, when a conference on women's rights was held in Seneca Falls, New York. The Seneca Falls meeting wasn't the first to advocate women's rights, but it was later known by suffragists as the meeting that launched the suffrage movement. Women suffrage advocates campaigned for the next 50 years to educate the public on the legitimacy of women's suffrage.
The 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act was the first of a number of significant consumer protection laws that Congress passed in the 20th century which led to the creation of the Food and Drug Administration. Its main purpose was to ban foreign and inter-state trade in adulterated or mislabeled food and drug items and it was directing the United States. The environmental campaign aimed at maintaining important natural features in America. The Movement for Conservation promoted the creation of national and state parks, wildlife refuges, and national monuments. President Theodore Roosevelt was a Conservation Movement pioneer working to end natural resource waste and sustainability was a pillar of his domestic policy during his administration.
