The answer would be yes, chimpanzees should be excluded from biomedical testing. National Institute of health concluded that prohibhit the use of use of chimps in biomedical research except under stringent circumstances. And, also chimpanzees are the has been a valuable animal in the past, current biomedical research use of chimpanzees is not required. However, chimpanzees helped us in development of heptatits B vaccine, it made scientists to get a better understanding towards malaria and HIV. But, harming an animal is unethical. Isolated chimpanzees in small cages defy their role as social animals, which can traumatize them emotionally.
Chimpanzees that die younger in research laboratories because those used in biomedical research are frequently contaminated with the disease being studied — such as HIV, and many strains of hepatitis. So, finally these distinct chimpanzees should be safe guarded and not harm them by using them in any kind of medical research.
