Considering drivers of quality and potential issues of quality perception by the public, how might you initially redefine a mission and vision for the setting that embraces quality management?
We would be able to redefine a mission and a vision for the setting that would embrace the quality management by knowing what are the values, resources and the consequences for the setting that you are managing and embracing in the organisation.
1. Values: This section for the setting would talk about what values and purpose your setting is sharing. The quality assurance and management would make us to ensure that if the setting is able to exhibit the value and purpose for what it was designed at the first place. For example, the setting of a warehouse where people have their jobs to work should assure that the quality of a warehouse should be able to fulfil that purpose and exhibit that value for embracing the quality management.
2. Resources: Another important thing is the resource management for enusring the quality for the setting that you have arranged. What are the different kinds of resources used and how effectively the same could be managed helps in ensuring the quality management. For example, talking about the same warehouse setting, we know we have both human as well as non human resources to be managed. Knowing the same warehouse has to to manage the same resources, it is to ensure that quality should be maintained to provide the best safety, assurance and maintainance for the resources.
3. Consequences: At last, the last important element for the quality management for the setting would be the consequences. One has to understand that if the same setting won't assure a quality management, what would happen next. Like if the warehouse is not able to have the quality setting, it could lead to the organisation fall into a disaster as it is where the actual store and management happens. Thus, ensure this point as well for better management of quality.
