The presence of tropical rainforests across the globe is a boon to the biodiversity and climate. These forests also help in the reduction of carbon dioxide and providing Oxygen in return. Many animals live only in the tropical rainforest areas making them unique. Also, the trees provide food and shelter to many of them. However, tropical deforestation is occurring at an alarming rate due to human intervention. Humans cut down trees to prepare land which is then used for cultivation purposes.
