Many of the topics we touched upon this year are well established ethical questions that the public has debated for many years. Reading deals with a much newer ethical dilemma -- genetic engineering. Recently it has become much more frequent to see stories of scientists working on changing our genetic make up, Questions about some uses of genetic engineering, by Jonathan Glover focuses on both the ethical dilemma as well as the positive gains that can come from it.

Genetic engagement applied for therapeutic uses and for other
reasons, it avoided social risk and self-applied genetic
modification. safety and efficacy of the genetic products approach
make ethical dilemmas due to unsafe practice and risk. many years
ago genetic technology shapes the future for many people. genetic
technology helps for many Americans for organ transplants or
chemotherapy. The ethical stance that leads to great happiness for
many people. utilitarianism rules in society make a general rule
for society to respect individual rights. genetic engineering point
of view to make utilities greater advantage for needy one. this
technology advances in the therapeutic treatment of disease,
pharmaceuticals, and many illnesses and sufferings. In an ethical
goal controlling body, mind by genetic control makes unlimited
advantages for people.
Ethical concern by making an intervention with individual genome
for therapeutic use, diagnostic purpose and to avoid risks are in
the positive point, but real ethical dilemmas when testing comes
with genetic design of children, high market society permit
unregulated genetic modification of sperm, egg, and embryo make
risk for women and children and their safety is not under the
guaranteed. These issues happened in the usage of drugs and medical
devices also.
