Contingency approach to management says that there is no single or best style to manage people, resources, structure, strategies and overall change initiatives of an organization. Managers should learn how to handle the situations or potential challenges. The best way is to be proactive in taking steps in improving the business operations and handling the current challenges . The following may be utilized as a contingency approach to manage anticipated change situations,

1) Leadership abilities:

It should be competent way to handle any kind of situations. Board members should hire such people as a manager in top level hierarchy of an organization . For example, To fight Covid19 next new normal and business challenges, CEOs should have adequate knowledge of crisis management, leading capabilities and capacity to manage new possibilities or changes in business process.

2) Crisis management:

A good manager or person working at top or bottom level to an organization must know the tactics of crisis management. This responsiveness can be said as quality to handle contingent situations.

3) Team based approach:
