Meat is most commonly consumed by humans. Meat can get from goat,hen, cow, buffalo,pig, sheep etc Two type of meat are there. One is red meat and other is white meat. Red meat can seen in cow and sheep which have narrow meat fibre and red in colour due to presence of myoglobin.White meat cannot have myoglobin that's why they appear as white in colour.white meat have broad meat fibre can seen in chicken.

Composition of meat  

• Meat are highly protein rich food resource which contain all essential amino acids (20 percentage)
• 75 percentage of water
• 2 to 3 percent fat
• 2 to 3 percent non protein
• Vitamins like vitamin B₁₂ , vitamin B₆
• Minerals like zinc, selenium, phosphorous, choline, riboflavin and iron
• No or low carbohydrates
• Cholesterol associated with fat in meat.

Health consideration for having meat

• Always consume fully cooked meat, unless it can cause gastro Intestinal problems
• Increase consumption of meat can cause coronary heart disease. More accumulation of cholesterol in blood vessels of heart  
• Try to consume more vegetables and fruits compared to meat. Meat consumption is okey to an extend
• Processed food can be carcinogenic, so try to avoid it and made it homely.
