The uses of Erucamide are following:

One of its important uses is as an anti sticking lubricant, release and antistatic agent of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP.).

Erucamide is also extensively used in the manufacture of printing inks (as a dispersing agent and to improve lubrication) making of high speed printing inks, magnetic inks, typing ribbons, carbon paper and metal decorating.

It is also used in high grade lube-oil, dye dispersants, waterproof and anti-fog agent for paper making and textile industries, foam-stabilizer, metal-wire drawing lubricant agent, etc.

Erucamide can also be used as foam stabilizer and antiseptics of sulfonate detergents. Adding Erucamide in anti friction coating of photography and sensitive materials can enhance the properties of the materials.
