Solution: The Topics in the Exploratory data analysis

  • Box Plot.
  • Scatter plot.
  • Z-score.
  • IQR(Inter-Quartile Range)

Suppose we have data like

8
10
10
15
15
15
16
19
20
22
23
24
26
28
29
32

Now using this data we plot the box plot for analysis for box plot we have to first calculate the value of Q1 , Q2 = median , Q3 , Inter quartile Range (IQR) ...etc

Now scatter plot

if we draw the scatter plot we gate relationship between this two data variables i.e x and y

Comment : If we see this graph then we say that there is positive relationship between X and Y variable

Z Score :

The Z-score is the signed number of standard deviations by which the value of an observation or data point is above the mean value of what is being observed or measured.

While calculating the Z-score we re-scale and center the data and look for data points that are too far from zero. These data points which are way too far from zero will be treated as the outliers.

IQR : Using IQR we say that the 50%  from whole data is lies within the IQR

This is formula for IQR
