What are the three types of muscular tissue? Compare between them in terms of:Cell location, cell size, cell nuclei, cell shape, cell interconnection, cell striation, cell sarcomere, cell conduction via sarcoplasmic reticulum, T tubules, source of calcium for conduction, speed of contraction, fatigue, and nervous control. put into your own simple words
Smooth Muscles:
Shape- Spindle shape
Intercalated disc- Absent
Number of Nuclii- Uninucleated( one)
Location in body- wall of internal organs
Cell arrangement- Elongated spindle type
Functions- smooth muscles moves food, urine and reproductive tract secreation, control diameter of respiratory passage way and regulate diameter of blood vessels.
Striation -Absent
Type of Nerve control- Involuntry control.
Cardiac Muscles:
Shape- Branched fibres
Intercalated disc- Absent
Number of nuclei- uninucleated (one)
Location- wall of heart
Cell Arrangement- Cells are often branched and are tightly connected by specialised junction.
Functions-Cardiac muscle moves blood and maintains blood pressure.
Striations-Present
Types of nerve control- Involuntary control.
Skeleton muscles:
Shape-Tubular shape
Intercalated disc- Present
No of Nuclei- Multinucleated (many nucleus)
Location in body -usually attached to skeleton.
Cell arrangement- Muscles Fibre bundles wrapped by connective tissue covering.
Function-Skeletol muscles stabilized the position of Skelton guard entrances and exists to the digestive, respiratory and urinary tract generate het and protect internal organ.
Striations-present
Type of nerve control- Voluntary control
