Ans:
1. we placed 3ml of 3% H2O2 in test tube. we obsrved that the solution is colorless with slight bubbles. this solution denoted as A. then we have taken one more new test tube filled with white color 0.1M KI (3ml of water) resulting solution is appeared as colorless. therefore this solution denoted as B. its act as catalyst.
2. we have mixed both A and B solutions.we observed that the more amount of white color bubbles are appeared.
3. 2H2O2 (aq) + KI (aq) ----------> 2H2O (l) +O2 (g)
the H2O2 is undergo decomposition by KI catalyst to produce water and oxygen. therfore the bubbles appeared by oxygen only.
4. the name of given reaction is decopostion of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
