Given the non-parametric test, match the non-parametric test with its parametric counterpart.
Sign test
Wilcoxon rank sum test
Wilcoxon signed-rank test
Non parametric distribution is a form of distribution which does not require any assumption regarding the population parameter. It is also distribution free. In parametric problem we have have some assumption regarding the population parameter. In short we say non parametric test is used to test about the normality of the population or whether the two or more sample are drawn from same population.
For checking the dependency paired sample is choosen.
a) Sign test for one sample problem is related to parametric form one sample t-test and for two sample problem it is related to paired t-test.
b) Wilcoxon rank sum test is generally related to paired t-test.
c) For one sample wilcoxon signed-rank test is related to z-test and for two sample for checking dependency it is related to paired t-test.
