one characteristic of a successful innovation is "Saved money for users of the innovation". That is not always true. What is always true? Illustrate with an original example.
One characteristic of a successful innovation that is always true is adding value to the business or a user. Some of the innovations might cost the users more than the existing ones in the market. But they make sure that they add value to the end user. This will not change because the market will accept something as an innovation because it is new to the market and there is a demand for it.
The introduction of iPhone was innovative and the company had achieved something that no one could imagine in the smartphone industry. This was innovative but at the same time, it was very expensive to afford as well. But for the people who could afford it, it was very clear that the product was better than the existing phones in the market and it was adding value to their life through its technological innovation. People also made it a huge success for the same reason and also people still continue to buy expensive iPhones even today also for the same reason.
