Solutions

Expert Solution

Various advancement has been done in the field of biomedicine but still spread of infectitious diseases remains a major threat for heath, ecological sustainability and wildlife conservation. complete eradication of the infectious diseases is not possible but a broader picture of the understanding of community interactions like mutualism, host-parasite, amensalism, etc. will make a better management.

The aim of community ecology is the identification of the factors that governs the structure and dynamics of the ecological communities. Addressing the fundamental challenges - for example - management of ecological complexity, identification of heterogeneities among species, etc.

Defensive and offensive approaches to control the spread can be opted. For example - strategically using wildlife diversity for reducing host and vector transmission and taking benefit of antagonism betwen symbionts whereas targeted control of superspreading hosts comes under offensive approaches.
