Lovett Malta Martin Davis and Chloe 2007 evaluated the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy for treating PTSD and related symptoms for survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center they use the protest post-test design to see if CVT was successful at reducing the symptoms of PTSD
Participants’ opinions on marriage and divorce were qualitatively coded and two themes selected based on Willoughby’s theoretical framework. Multiway frequency analyses (MFA) were used to investigate associations between empirically based factors (derived from previous empirical studies) and participants’ endorsement of the two themes. cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as a way to help clients overcome obstacles to personal growth.
