This means that the following equilibrium almost completely remains in the reverse direction only.
In other words, the conjugate base of a strong acid is not hydrolyzed. Hence, it has no effect on pH.

KNO3 is a salt of strong acid HNO3 and strong base KOH. It is not hydrolyzed in water. Hence, the pH of the solution will be equal to the pH of water which will be 7.
