What are some of ways that allow coral reef and antarctic reef fishes to maintain a similar "pace of life"?
Coral reef is the natural habitat of the Antarctic reef fishes. to maintain the similar pace of the life with coral reef, these reef fishes adapt themselves. They are different in comparison to upper water fishes, they adapt in three areas, i.e, body shape, colouration and feeding habit.
Body shape: many reef fishes change the shape of the body from slender to flat body. they dodge their body into reef to save themselves from predation. Colouration: fishes have vibrant colour to match with the colour of reef. This helps them to camouflage with the reef to save them. Feeding habit: the fishes evolved their mouthpart in such a way that they can easily dig the food from the reef. The coral reef and many Atlantic reef fishes show symbiotic relationship. Either both are benefitted with the relationship or one is benefitted and other remains unharmed. Thus, these strategies help them survive with the same pace.
