Discuss the Extinction Risks for Coral Reefs as a result
of Coral Bleaching.
Coral reef ecosystems around the globe are threatened by human
interferences and climate
change. This has led to many scientists conducting studies on
global coral reef ecosystems to gain
a better understanding of the cause and effects of coral reef
damage.
We will take four opportunities to engage in discussion on the
selective topic such as :origins, human impacts, biodiversity,
environmental factors and algal diversity . You will identify the
significant that associates the topic and overall
invertebrates.
Key connections:
Climate change; global warming, symbioses, diversity Important,
human impact, and coral reef conservation.
Important Questions:
Can it be reversed? Or can coral habitats be restored?
Examples of resources: Primary literature information.
The coral reef can be restored.Due to several reasons such as climate change, human impact and global warming the level of destruction of coral reef is statistically increasing. The coral reefs are very vulnerable and thats why it destruct very easily. The coral restroration can be done by mainly sexual , asexual and vegetative propagtation. The sexual mode of restore need more scinetific approch and asexual mode of propagation will result in genetically identical feefs.frgamentation is another method. The reef can be cultured in the sea or land based nursery with the suitable substrate and after the a period it can be transplanted to the degrading coral reefs. This method will help for the restore and propagation of coral reefs and we can conserve that. There are several examples for this type of restoring.Everything in the world that are natural is can be termed as a resouces. The animals, plants, water, air, food, rivers and everything that provide something is a resource. The coral reef also a resource in which it can act as the shelter, food and hiding place for the aquatic animals such as fishes.
