Can you give me an examples of how the TV could teach your children different cultures.( I mean when they watch TV how they could learn different cultures.)

Watching TV is not always bad for kids. A controlled and monitored watching of the TV shows a lot more of positive effects on the kids. A TV can helps the kids understand their own culture, customs as well a sothers cultures, values, customs, etc. Children always pay more attention towards what they watch then what their hear. They tr to relate to what they are watching on the TV. If they are watching something which showcases different cultural beliefs than theirs, it will rais etheir curosity to ask questions. This will ultimately increase their cultural knowledge. There are various ways b which watching TV helps in increasing cultural information in kids. These are:

• Children are influenced by people they see on television, especially other kids. As kids see their favorite characters wearing different costumes, talking in differnt languages, performing different rituals, they will be influenced in a good way.
• Use television programs to prompt discussions about plot and character development. Asking questions as you co-view with your children will help them learn to think, solve problems, and predict, making TV viewing a more active experience.
