1- If ‘the dose makes the poison’ –are all people affected equally? Why or why not?
2. How arenecrosis and apoptosis similar? How are they different?
Question number 1- The dose does not affect the all people equally because we are having difference in our genome and the immune system of body is vary with genome. Some people can fight with this poisonous dose for a long time or even affect is very small but some are affected very heavily. It's the genome which is responsible for all the reaction of our body and we vary considerably in our genome.
Question number 2- Necrosis and apoptosis are two different things. Necrosis is the cell death due to some external stimuli which cause the death of cell due to release of lysosomal content. In Necrosis plant work against this because it causes the heavy loss to plant.
Apoptosis is a process in which internal signal are responsible for cell death. In apoptosis cell examine the non recoverable change into the cell which can cause the problems for neighbour cells also. So an internal signal is used for programmed cell death.
