Walmart also tries to provide better quality products at the lowest price to its customers to boost sales. However, despite of all, it has some deficiencies too. Walmart has low wage rates, because of which the productivity of workers is adversely affected, and its efficiency is also decreasing. Furthermore, there are instances of wage theft(no payment for overtime or forced work even at rest breaks or meal breaks)too, when it comes to Walmart. It also demotivates employees, and it affects their efficiency.

Walmart does not provide a safe environment for employees at the job; it does not think about their employees' families and does not provide excellent healthcare to workers.

My suggestion would be that They should improve the products and services they are providing to face competition. Moreover, They should expand their business in developing countries because of their low prices.

Walmart should also improve their labor's working environment and wage rates to compete.

My vision for applying the concept of product extension in the company would be selling white wedding gowns. Walmart sells wedding veils at Walmart. Nevertheless, Walmart does not sell wedding gowns. So, selling gowns can be a product extension concept for Walmart. I think it would interest the same customers who are now buying their original products of wedding veils since a bride who is purchasing a wheel would also require a white wedding gown for the wedding.
