Answer 1) Intensive farming: It is a form of farming where a small land area is available.In such condition. the farmers invest a large number of capitals in fertilizers, pesticides and highly efficient machinery and a large amount of labour so that to obtain very high yield and productivity.
Prairie farming: In this method of cultivation, a very large land area is available for farming. so the farmers invest a comparatively lower number of capitals and labours, still, they obtain a sufficient yield/productivity so that to meet their profit requirements and the market needs.
