Let's say there is dysfunction in a family where the parent believes in God but the children do not and the parent wants them to. In the family, there were domestic violence and child abuse, PTSD, ANXIETY. how do traditions (beliefs and behavior) influence self-esteem, marriage, parenting, sexuality/familiar responsibility, and loyalties?
Actually it's a wide topic since each individual is holding different characters.
In some family parents consider all the values and respect for individual freedom and they will give complete permission to adopt what ever their child want no matter what religion or caste .he will be free to choose his faith , marriage ,and in all other matter.in these type of family the relationship with child and parent will be friendly and they will have strong bonding.
In some other committees if parents are orthodox they force their children to follow their culture and believe even if they dont want.parents will have more control on their kids matters including education believe marriage and even in the case of frnds.they will not allow to have girls friend and other activities. Parents will force them to follow religious practices or socially acceptable behaviour in their communities. In this case there will be a parent child conflict will be there.and also kids are forced to do something that they dont like example marriage and this will end up in failure and causing post traumatic stress disorder and other mental problems a.in this relationship parents and kids will not have friendly relationships instead kids will feel anxious and stress to discuss something with their parents.some community girls are strictly forced to follow parents likes and dislikes.
