1) Fiduciary relationship
Fiduciary relationship is a special relationship of trust and confidence in which one party places special trust, confidence, and reliance in and is influenced by another who has a fiduciary duty to act for the benefit of the party. It is also called confidential relationship.
It may be created by express agreement of the parties, or it may be imposed by law where established by the conduct of the parties.
In this relationship law demands a higher than ordinary degree of care and responsibility from the trusted or dominant party.
For example, Fiduciary relationships exists between an agent and principal, ward and guardian, customer and bank.
