The Bowflex HVT is a home gym piece of training equipment. Noting that individual results will vary, Nautilus, Inc. states that “In a recent independent study, average weight loss for [users of the Bowflex HVT] was 13 lbs. Participants also followed the meal plan included with every Bowflex HVT.”

In order to determine the weight loss that might be expected as a result of use of the Bowflex HVT without the included meal plan, weight changes for a small sample of 12 Bowflex HVT users not following the meal plan were measured. Weight (losses)/gains are shown below in pounds.
