Provide 5 differences between Locke and Rousseau in how they define "state of nature"?
Answer:
• According to Locke morality is the inborn feature of men but on
the other hand, Rousseau States that morality is not an inborn
characteristic of human and he is born immoral.he only follows
instincts.
• Locke believed that property is one of the natural rights of men
and can be achieved by labour, on the other hand, Rousseau, States
that property is state of nature and not own men.
• Locke States that men possess liberty and freedom but Rousseau
believes that men cannot achieve absolute freedom because men are
slaves of their own desires.
• According to Locke society and family is formed due to nature of
men is to works together socially.On the other hand, Rousseau
believes that idea of family is created by women further it
developed the idea of society.
• According to Locke concept of money, law and property limits are
unjust and corrupted because they create insecurity and fear of
losing money and property.It also creates greed, anger, stealth,
violence among people in society.
