Solutions

Expert Solution

One of the companies that have followed the footsteps of crowd sourcing is FLIPKART
•   The campaign was memorable as it was running on social media and garnered a lot of attention and the amount of effort that was put in the campaign paid off as a lot of customers participated in the campaign and the new product was successfully launched with almost null budget as cost wasn’t involved. Something that was really memorable was that the old generation also participated in the campaign.
•   One of the ethical consideration that should have taken care was that it was promised that participants would be given a free voucher but it was not mentioned that you have to shop for $200 and then you can avail the voucher.
•   The targeting and marketing of the campaign could have been improved as the real data that was required was from the younger generation but all age groups were involved and that deviated the final result.
