Basic Strategic planning model: These type of models give the organization the strategy to do bussiness that is it helps in for creating the vision or mission statement of the company, identifying goals and ways to achieve it and contineous review of the implementation of actions towards such goal.
The disadvantage of these model is that they are made for small bussiness. The organizations which are new can only take benefit out of this model.
Issue Based Model: Issue based models try to find out the issue that the company wants to resolve and identify it and make strategy to deal with such issues strategically. It also applys the SWOT formulae that is strength, weakness, opportunities and threat. Based on these analysis strategies are formed to deal with any issues of the organization.The disadvantage is that these strategy will have to be contineously reviewed over a period of time.
Alignment Model: This Models emphasis on bringing integration among various management of the organization. this is to bring the alignment of resources and various operation and deapartment of organization to work cordially and towards achieving organization goal. This is done by reviewing all startegies and mission statement, policies of organization etc.
Organic Model: this model states that organization performance can be improved by not making any strategy in traditional manner but to let all stakeholders raise their concern and suggest visionary approach and ideas that can take organization to growth. The models allows people withing orgaization to listent to each other vision and understand the problem in more organic way to strategise the organization plan.
