Specific weight = S

Area = A

Height = h

Resultant force from the pressure prism = Volume of the pressure prism = S*h*A/2

b) Hydrostatic force = 9.807*5*5*2/2 = 245.175 kN

this force acts at 2*5/3 from top = 3.33 m from top

Resultant force from the pressure prism = Volume of the pressure prism
