Systems Analysis and the SDLC are used in developing technology applications for use in a business-computing environment. Think about this process. Can it be used outside Information Systems? Provide an example of how you could apply the SDLC in, say, building a new house, purchasing a car, researching college degrees, etc. Discuss whether or not this process is helpful. Give an example.
In system analysis, we gather, analyze, and validate the information. Because examination of the business problem that organizations plan to solve with the information system.
In any industry, if we want to design, developed, and test high-quality software there is one process used which is called as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
So, I think in every project or make a new product we require system analysis and SDLC apart from the Information system. because, we need better management, better control, quality, view of the entire system, cost management, appropriate planning, Enhanced control on complex projects, and many things to make product successful and those are part of System analysts and SDLC.
How the SDLC used?
Before starting with an example, SDLC consist of different stages like Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.
Building a new house - Start to build a new house we need money so first planning for this is very important. Next, we analyze how many persons want to stay there? According to this, we need room for each. Now, design about those rooms that which is near to the kitchen or something. Next, is development so How we want the actual construction? After completion of this we need testing because need to check everything is working on our requirement or not (got some defect). Then implementation is the main role that is we are moving there. And to make the atmosphere or environment inside the house we require maintenance for this like to clean the house every time.
Thus, to make our project successful with customer satisfaction we need the SDLC in any area.
