DAU. ACQ202 TEST and EVALUATION

When using commercial and no-developmental items, the need for testing and evaluation is eliminated.?

1. TRUE

2. FALASE

Solutions

Expert Solution

Ans: False

When using commercial and non-development items the need for testing and evaluation is eliminated. This statement is incorrect.

There is a need for testing and evaluation.

Commercial items:

Commercial items refers to the goods and services which are sold and traded and are commercially available to public

Non-development items:

Non-development items are the products that are not developed for public but are developed for government purposes like defense products, military equipments, etc.

Testing and Evaluation:

There is a need for testing and evaluation of commercial items as if the products are not tested then it is not possible to know the problem, if caused to the consumer.

There is a need for testing and evaluation of non-development items as these items are very delicate and are for government use.
