Expert Solution

I think the statement that innovations happens randomly is true because when we sit with the same problem discussing with the same people and at the same place, we will beat around the bush by discussing the same solutions that we discussed earlier.
If we get out to attend sessions or programs that are not in anyway connected to us, we will be able to see things in a new dimension. There may be new spark that would ignite the solution for our problems. Ordinary people and natural environment will provide us with biggest lesson in life. For example, the invention of aeroplane was from the birds.
Sometimes when we work towards finding solution to a problem, we will end up in finding solution to another problem because insights can come from anywhere but it's about recognizing, connecting and applying critically will fuel innovations. We all saw only the apple falling waiting to eat it but for Newton, it fuelled the innovation and he discovered gravity.
