Steps of the team-building process.
- the first stage is known as forming, in this stage employees starts to get acquainted with each other, get to know each other. Members often search for the leadership quality and person with most skills and knowledge gets command of the team.
- The second stage is known as storming, in which different individual personality clash with each other since competition and conflict arise between people. People questions the ability of each other and different strong personality clash with each other forming subgroups. Team performance gets affected due to unwanted tasks happens by individuals.
- The third stage known as norming arises if teams pass the second stage, individual or leader personality takes control and the team starts building around them. Conflicts begin to get resolved and unity start building, cohesion clicks around people. People start working on team goals.
- The fourth stage is known as performing, in which team finally has shown result and performing well with coordination. The team had well established with every member and coordinating goodwill manner focusing on team goals and performance.
- The fifth stage known as adjourning, the stage is last stage and team comes to a disbanding stage where there is a feeling of team accomplishment for team goals and sad that each one has to depart and assigned to other tasks. Since there is a feeling for accomplishment for team goals and objectives.
