Discuss the role of the police in combating organized crime. Explain what methods they use and how they arrest and bring in convictions for these criminals. Also include your opinion on whether these methods are useful in controlling organized crime, what you think should be done differently, and why.

ROLE OF POLICE IN COMBATING ORGANIZED CRIME: One of the major roles players in getting the justice to the victims and punishment for the criminals. They are part of law enforcement. Their primary duty is to protect the prevention of crime. Bring punishment to every criminal or culprit and save the victim. They are the first persons to investigate and register the case related to the crime.

The crime rate in every country is increasing day by day compare to the previous generations the present crime rate is more. This is because of the developed technology and hates towards humanity. The government has given the right of punishment to only police to get the crime rate down.

The police department is doing best of what they have to, but there are still few more efforts needs to put the crime rate under control. They need to contribute more to protect the victims and bring the punishment to the culprits.

Police plays a crucial role in protecting the human rights. Since the generation has changed there are lot of hopes on police in protecting the judicial system.

He is the first person who respond to every crime and register and investigate the crime and bring punishment to the offenders under law.

METHODS USE TO ARREST AND BRING CONVICTIONS:

  • If any case that come under their station needs to be registered and investigated.
  • If someone complaints about the crime happening or happened the police rush to the incident place and arrest the culprits, if any one present at the incident.
  • If anyone identified as culprit and helped the culprit arrested at the movement later send for the investigation.
  • The first task of the police is to record the statement which includes all the information and witness present at the location and collect the evidence present at the location
  • The recorded statement is called FIR(First Information Report) for investigation process
  • After that they file a charge sheet in the court within 24 hours of time, if a person convinced of guilty.
  • The police have to investigate and conform the person committed crime or not .They have the complete authority to decide whether a person is innocent or guilty.
  • Later took to court for further investigation and punishment.

OPINION ON THESE METHODS USEFULL IN CONTROLLING CRIME:

  • Of course the methods which are following by the police can control part of the crime rate not completely.
  • As the crime rate is increasing day by day the judiciary system needs to improve in implementing the laws and some extra rights needs to be given to bring the crime rate down in the system.
  • As the culprits became more clever and the technology based crime rate is increasing in the system based on this more training and special training on technology learning is given to protect the system
  • Every police should be given a weapon to protect him/her and the people. As most of the police departments still in the developed rate of crime a gun or any material is not provided to the low level police
  • Every individual in police department is trained equally to protect the victims and punish the guilty
  • Technology based recourse needs to create to the department to trace and investigate the crime in less time and get the immediate punishment for the culprits in front of law.
  • As the population is increasing the police department and police force needs to increase to monitor the crime.
  • Most of the police force is allocated to politicians in the name of security. What about the common man .In this judiciary system when everyone is equal than why the politician or a public servant need more protection.
  • IF the crime needs to be in control increase the police force, allocate weapons to protect and get protected, latest technology trainings, knowledge of laws, and rules and regulations are important to provide to protect the system from any crime.

DIFFERENT METHODS TO FOLLOW TO CONTROL THE CRIME:

  • The crime can be controlled when everyone in the society will became a police
  • Police should develop a friendly atmosphere with the people, as most of the police is well known for their rough handling and rude behavior with the people.
  • Each and every crime needs to be reported and investigated properly
  • Every culprit or guilty needs to be punished in front of law.
  • The patrol team work more effectively in delivering their duties
  • The crime rate analysis teams closely work and find the crime committed areas and release a report based on these a close monitor will help to reduce the rate of crime.
  • Police force needs to be increased in the day by day increasing population, as there is huge increase in crime and less force is working so there is no balance of force
  • The close monitor through CCTV converge in crime affected areas
  • As per the law a culprit an escape from the law but an innocent cannot be punished
