Expert Solution

Define differential association and give a personal example of a time you acted unethically because your peers or supervisors were.

Differential association means criminal behavior is learned through close and frequent association with criminal behavior patterns. I was associated with a government department where we used to exploit people by making them work overtime without paying them over time pay which was not illegal but was way unethical on our part & I continued to do so.

Have you ever had a situation where you could have been a whistleblower? Why or why did you not whistleblow. Be specific with your example, but no company or people’s names.

Just following the above example, I followed the same practise for some time but could not do so for eternity. Hence, I used our whistleblower forum & went on to explain everything about the working hour practice at the ministry level. I did it because not only it was unfair to those who were putting in additional hours without getting paid for the ivertime but also to reduce turnover rate amongst employees because of this reason.
