Social self of an individual is how he interact socialty with others . Social self is about warmth, connection with others , giving to others , freindships , love etc. Social self is a great determinant of happiness of an individual . Social self detrmines how secure you feel in social surroundings and if you engage enough with your classmates , teachers form friends etc.
Individualistic cultures are the society like America where an individual is self centered and for all his decisions considers his own opinion and interests .IN such cultures individual goals are prioritized over group goals
Collectivistic society is where an individual stays with a group of people and for his decision he is dependent on the collective consensus of this group .Collectivistic culture emphasizes on the goals of group over the goals of an individual . In such society individual identity resides in group identity. (Like Japan)
Fundamental attribution error is the tendency of people to over emphasize role of personal characteristics while explaining other's behavior over circumstances or external factors.
