(maximizing carbohydrate) In a short paragraph, what way's can one maximize the quality of carbohydrates by having whole-grains, high fiber, low fat, and a low glycemic index. Does it seem like one could meet all these criteria with a few, well-chosen foods? Or does it seem like a task for a professional nutrition counselor?
Vitamin recommendations and claims can be confusing and misleading. A little knowledge is power – your power to choose. How will a person be sure to get all the vitamins they need? What do you see as some of the most important links between foods, vitamins, and preventable medical conditions at home and around the world? In a short paragraph, explain your best hypothesis about the connections.
whole grains- Instead of refined grains, which have left out almost all the parts of the grain , we should use whole grain food. This is because while processing the whole grain food, the whole of the grain is kept intact, even the kernel of the grain. This is more healthy for heart and losing weight.
High fibre diet- It is good for heart, helps in reducing weight and also cleanses digestive system.
Low fat diet- Low fat diet should be included because it prevents deposition of cholesterol inside the blood vessels(atherosclerosis)
Low glycemic index foods , theyare digested slowly, and hence they sloly rise the blood glucose levels, so the insulin levels.
the person can be sure that he is taking all the necessary vitamins by buying the vitamin charts from the market, and also look for any signs of defeciency within himself.
The important link between foods , vitamin and preventable medical conditions is the resources of the importanat vitamins supplied and also the knowledge of the important vitamins for the prevention of medical conditions like, night blindness , scurvy, Rickets etc.
