Imagine you and your 10 study group partners are interested in
whether all those hours you spent together working on statistics
problems for midterm exam 2 actually
helped your group’s performance on that exam relative to its
performance on the first midterm exam. Suppose the first and second
midterm grades were as follows:
Midterm 1 Midterm 2
Homer 25    28
Marg    20    19
Bart    15    21
Lisa    16    25
Maggie 30 30
Apu    20    22
Eddie 19    19
Krusty    5 0
Itchy 29    30
Scratchy 29    28
You 24 30
Is there sufficient evidence (at α = .05) to
conclude that the group performed better
on midterm 2? Please provide all your
calculations
From the above information,
We perform paired t test
Null hypothesis:-
difference between the average of the After midterm Before and μ0 is not big enough to be statistically significant.
By using minitab statistical software

Decision:-
P-value=0.920 > level of significance (0.05)
Accept null hypothesis.
Conclusion:-
Hence there is no sufficient evidence to conclude that the group performed better on midterm 2.

If you satisfied with my answer then please like it definitely.
