What is the principle operation of the evaporator?
Principle operation of evaporator is to absorb heat from refrigerated space or from the required space. The heat taken from this space is used to evaporate the working fluid which enters the evaporator as liquid. By using the heat taken from the space this liquid refrigerant or working fluid vaporizes and turns into gaseous form before it enters the compressor. So evaporator is directly associated with the refrigerated space or required space which is to be maintained at a particular temperature. By this process working fluid in the evaporator takes or absorbs heat from the space until equilibrium occurs. That is until both working fluid and the space have same temperature.
