Can you give me an example for competition , mutualism, cooperation, altruism, exploitation and the competitive exclusion principle?
Competition:
One typical example are the cheetahs and lions which posses the same prey. The presence of both in the same environment could be negative for both because there will be less food source.
Mutualism
The relationship between anemones and clownfish. The anemone provides protection to the fish while the fish attract other animals to be food of the anemone
Cooperation:
In this case, a group of ants can work together to form a kind of bridge that allow them to pass between a two separate zones.
Altruism
Vampire bats are able to regurgitate some blood in order to donate it to other individuals that were not able to feed.
Exploitation
The exploitation is a type of competition where two organism indirectly compete for the same resource. One example of this are the tall trees that are able to reach the sun light while the smaller trees can not. The exploited resource is the sun light
Competitive exclusion
In competitive exclusion, two species that compete for the same resource are not able to coexist. For example, P. aurelia and P. caudatum posses the same food resource and they can not coexist in the same niche.
