1.(a)Explain how biodiversity determine the function
of ecosystems.

Ans 1a) Biodiversity is defined as varities which is seen among various living organisms that includes marine, aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Also, the various varities of plants, microorganism and animals seen on this earth is termed as biodiversity. A rich biodiversity will play a major role in increasing the productivity of ecosystem, where each and every species plays vital role no matter a species is small or big. For example if you have plant species in larger number so this will ensure that there are larger crop varities. Also, it will ensure sustainability for all the life forms. More the species diversity greater will be the natural sustainability.
Ans b) Community structure is the composition of species which will tell about the presence of an organism its number and how it relate to one another. Various factors influence the community structure which includes interactions among the species, abiotic factors, events or chance and disturbance level. Various species like keystone species will help to determine the community structure.
