In this question, we would be discussing a very common healthcare setting about which we all are aware of. It's the treatment of the COVID 19 patients in the govt hospitals.

Since, the covid 19 is a global problem and it's impact can be seen all over the world. Not only it's affecting the people in large numbers on daily basis but also leading to multiple deaths per day. Though govt is taking n number of steps to fight covid and making all possible ways to treat the people being infected by this virus and needs hospitalisation. But on daily basis news comes from states in india that people are not being treated well in the Govt hospitals. Patients are lying on the floors, no one is there to take care of them, no on is there to give them oxygen support etc. This kind of neglectance can be seen in majority of the well renowened govt hospitals. This had led to the development of fear in the people that they are afraid of going to the govt hospitals if they are found affected by the virus.

One hospital which recently came to be very much popular in news was the Delhi's LNJP hospital. Multiple deaths occured in the hopsital just because of the casuality of the nurses and other staff members. Though the hospital had facilities to take care of the patients but what wasn't there was a team to take care of the patients. This led to severe disappointment among the people and created a fear of not going for treatmen in govt hospitals. The dead bodies were lying on the floors, people are dying of oxygen but such poor system led to their deaths. Those lives could have been saved if proper care and treatment were given at that point of time. This is only some of the stories we come to know each day about the various hospitals but in reality there would be many such cases where the light hasn't been put yet.

Majority of the people rely on the govt services for treatment as private hospitals like Max, appollo, etc have very good treatment facilities but their cost of treatment is too high that not everyone can afford them. These healthcare settings in govt hospitals should be monitored and corrected that people can trust them and go without even a single thought for the treatment.

To achieve this, some things strictly needs to be implemented. I am listing few of them below :

* The healthcare facilities and infrastructure should be strictly monitored personally by the govt officials once a week to check if everything is going as per govt guidelines or not. Hospitals not following them or any neglectance if found should be booked under strict laws.

* The cost of treatment should not over exceed except the one decided by the govt. Authorities shoud keep a check on it strictly and anyone not following it i.e if any activity of overcharging if found it shoudn't be neglected.

* Heathcare facilities for covid specially in the govt hospitals should be made easily available for every needy patient and well care should be taken.

* oxygen facility should be made readily available.

These are the healthcare settings which needs urgent attention and shoud be improved in the ways mentioned above.
