Expert Solution

Monitoring and Controlling projects is the effective process where the standards and the objectives of the process are established to make sure the processing and the outputs generated with the process are manufactured and developed as accordance with the predetermined qualitative standards only. Thus in simple words, the monitoring and controlling of the projects would involve 3 critical steps which are:

1. Establishment of the goals and standards to give a direction and the way of how the process and project is to be carried out.

2. The communication and the processing where the same standards are being communicated to make sure the company and the project members are working in the most effective and efficient manner.

3. And finally the evaluation and the assessments of the results to make sure the output is formed and generated as per the standards and the objectives of the project.

The most common objectives for all the knowledge areas would be the the work performance, the change requests, the management plan update and finally the corrective actions taken to make sure the output is evaluated and again regenerated as per the specified standards of control and monitoring process of the allocated project to make sure the company’s objectives are being met effectively and efficiently.
