There are a number of differently colored molecules present in Spinach. Explain what role these molecules might serve in photosynthesis.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer:

photosynthesis is the Biochemical process, where the green plants and some organisms synthesises the carbohydrates by useing CO2 and water in the presence of sun light. In this process Oxygen liberated as a by-product.

In the photosynthesis generally involves the green pigment called Chlorophyll. It absorbs the sunlight in the forms of photons for the photosynthesis.

In adddition to these regular green chlorophyll there are also a number of Accessory pigment (colored molecules) that are in each cloroplast. These pigments can absorb the different colors (different wave length) of the light and direct the photons to the cholorophyll molecule.
