Looking for some guidance as how to write a critical analysis of a peer-reviewed journal article that uses interpretation of statistical analysis to study an issue. ?♀️?♀️. I don't even know what that means.
Basically I am not aware how much you know about the critical review but it actually means that you will have to assess the weaknesses and strengths of the peer-reviewed journal article. Since the article uses interpretation is statistical analysis to study an issue, you would have to make sure how well the statistical analysis is performed and how well it happens to test the issue in question.
In statistics it is very easy to use a technique that would support the conclusion that the author requires. As a reviewer you would have to see whether the issue under consideration could have been better analysed using another statistical tool. In fact how the results might vary with the help of let's say sue of mean instead of median, or even a different sampling technique.
It becomes the job of the reviewer to understand the idea behind the article and how well the statistical analysis supports the conclusions of the article.
